Mid September Update
23 days ago – Wed, Sep 11, 2024 at 08:53:05 PM

Lots of Great News!

Well not a lot but pretty encouraging! As mentioned in the last update, I had lost 92 some-odd linked files/images for the Affinity file when my harddrive crashed. However, it is all updated and the files are ready (pending final pass over) to send off for printing.

There's more...

The GM screen, A3 map, A4 item card sheets, A4 character sheets, A5 hireling sheets, A4 trifold adventure, and box are already to head oof to the printers as well!

BackerKit

We will be closing Pre-Orders soon and dealing with charging and shipping soon.

Super Excited!!!

Here is a teaser of a current project I have in the works and it'll be dropping on itch.io very soon. It features art from the amazing @gnarledmonster and could fit as an amazing one-shot for your Tomb delving mouse adventurers!

I'll check back in with y'all soon! Thank you for all the support and patience!

Mid-August Update
about 2 months ago – Sun, Aug 18, 2024 at 07:17:46 PM

Hey y'all, thanks for all the patience.

As you may have seen in the previous updates, my life is quite different now but things are going well! This summer has been massively busy in my new role but it has been going well. The tail end of this month and September level out for me really well.

We have kept the Backerkit pre-order store and will through the end of the month. We are finalizing a couple edits and will update the PDFs shortly. Here is the fun bit...

Within 4 days of releasing the PDFs and setting up the itch.io page my hard-drive fried and I lost all my files and fonts. Major suck. But, that is why I have an external hard-drive and was able to salvage roughly 90% of the ToaTD files. This past month I've been rebuilding and getting the files ready to send off for production however we are set back roughly a month. The final files should be done as of September and then production begins.

Some of you have reached out about the itch files not working and I am working on getting all of that remedied, so again - thanks for your patience!

In other news...

My home group just wrapped our year long campaign in Tomb of a Thousand Doors (113 hours of play) and it was great!

Excited to hear more play reports as the months and years go by.

Thanks y'all!

Some of the Digital Files!
3 months ago – Wed, Jun 26, 2024 at 04:17:11 PM

Testing out BackerKit's Digital Download distribution feature. We are going to use itch.io as well.

Itch.io will have all of the files some and keys will be sent out.

I'll finish adding all the files to BackerKit as soon as we charge cards, but in the mean time - enjoy the files we just sent out via email.

Please post screenshots and thoughts on the files on Twitter and tag Tony and I as well as Mausritter (@plusoneexp @manarampmatt @mausritter).

Thanks y'all

Just a friendly update...

June Update

As has been mentioned in the previous updates, all of the digital files are complete and ready to send off to backers and pre-order folks. And this is coming. The hang up is two fold.

One, not everyone has completed their BackerKit survey (only 75 left). That said, we are going to proceed.

Two, my role and day job have drastically changed in a good way but due to a massively traumatic situation. Let's just say I am in a new role with double the responsibility (probably more like triple) but the reason I got the promotion is due to the spot becoming open in a traumatic way (it didn't help that the role I am stepping into was held by a close family member).

All said, I am doing considerably well - but exhausted. Luckily all the work for ToaTD was complete, it is now just getting it to y'all. Tony and I are working on locking in orders and then boom! Files are in inboxes. From there we will give a couple weeks for folks to let us know of any typos we missed and then production begins! Thanks for all the support and continued patience!
